FROTH is now legal! Prospectus to be launched on 17 March

We are delighted to announce that today The Charsfield Three Horseshoes Community Pub Limited came into existence.

It is a Community Benefit Society (like a company but for democractically controlled community enterprises) registered with the Financial Services Authority.

Although that has taken longer than hoped, it is great news.

We now need to amend the rules of the Society so they fit what people in Charsfield said they wanted (in their answers to questionnaires last summer). We also want to obtain an up to date valuation and establish the tax position.

Those things will take a few weeks. So we will not be launching our prospectus on 4 February as previously announced.

The prospectus for The Charsfield Three Horseshoes Community Pub Limited will now be launched at FROTH’s party/meeting on Saturday 17 March. That will be a very important meeting for everyone to come to.

For our 4th February party we have joined forces with the recreation ground committee to organise a ‘Casino Night’. It promises to be a great fun evening.

Admission of £10 gets you your ‘chips’ for the night (prize for the winner at the end) and a buffet supper. The proceeds will be split between the recreation ground funds and FROTH.

Tickets available from Jan Pedgrift (2 St Peter’s Close) Pauline Llewellyn (6 St Peter’s Close), the Bridge Garage or the Tea Shop, Wickham Market.
